The short version: we collect what you give us on our forms, what we need to take and confirm payments, and basic website analytics. We use it to run our services, support you and, if you opt in, send you the RUO Compliance Brief. We don't sell your personal information. We never receive or store card numbers.
1. Who this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how BBWholesale ("we", "us") handles personal information. It covers:
- visitors to bbwholesale.us;
- merchants, members and website-build clients who sign up with us;
- affiliates;
- Compliance Brief subscribers; and
- shoppers who pay a merchant through our payment pages at bbwholesale.tech or through our WordPress plugin.
It should be read with our Terms of Service.
2. What we collect

3. Shoppers at our merchants' stores
When you buy from a store that uses BBWholesale and choose to pay by card, the store sends you to a payment page that we provide. In that case:
- The store is the seller, and its own privacy policy also applies to you.
- To create the payment, we receive the order amount and currency, your email address and, on some checkouts, your phone number and the items in your cart. We also receive a one-time payment address and the store's confirmation details.
- You enter your card or wallet details directly with the payment provider you choose on the page (for example a card or on-ramp provider). They don't pass through BBWholesale or the store. That provider may ask you to verify your identity under its own terms and privacy policy.
- When the payment settles, the provider sends a confirmation back to the store. The confirmation includes the amount and the blockchain transaction details.
- Our payment gateway doesn't record query strings in its logs, so your email isn't kept in our request logs.
4. How we use it
- To review applications, open and run your account, and provide the Services you signed up for.
- To create, route, confirm and support payments, and to fulfil and ship orders.
- To take and confirm payments of our own fees.
- To schedule and hold consult calls, and to answer your questions through chat, email or phone.
- To credit affiliates for the sign-ups they refer.
- To send emails about your account, payments, orders and important service changes.
- To send the RUO Compliance Brief and occasional news and offers, if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep our systems secure, meet our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Where privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on:
- performing our contract with you;
- our legitimate interests in running and securing our business;
- your consent, for marketing emails and non-essential analytics where consent is required; and
- legal obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Services, and only as much as they need:

We may also disclose information:
- when the law requires it, such as to answer a valid legal request;
- to protect the rights, safety and property of BBWholesale, our users or others, including to prevent fraud; or
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, in which case this policy continues to protect it.
Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy policy.
6. Cookies and analytics

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the referral or session cookies, affiliate credit and portal sign-in won't work. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. We don't currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them.
7. Blockchain data
Payouts settle on public blockchains such as Polygon, Ethereum and BNB Chain. Wallet addresses, amounts and transaction hashes recorded on a blockchain are public, permanent and can't be changed or deleted by us or anyone else. Anyone who can link a wallet address to you may be able to see its transaction history. Keep this in mind when you choose a payout wallet.
8. How long we keep it
- Account, sign-up, order and payment records: while you're a customer, then for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal purposes (generally up to 7 years).
- Consult bookings and enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- Compliance Brief: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep your email address marked as unsubscribed so we don't email you again, unless you ask us to delete it.
- Server logs: 14 days.
- Records of emails we sent (recipient, subject and whether the send succeeded): up to 1 year.
- Google Analytics data: deleted according to Google Analytics retention settings, up to 14 months.
9. Security
We protect information with encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, hashed passwords and session tokens, and by keeping payment credentials only with our payment providers. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee security. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
10. Your choices and rights
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any Brief or marketing email, or email us.
- Access, correction and deletion: you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We may keep records we're legally required to keep. We can't change information recorded on a blockchain.
- California, other US states and the EU, EEA and UK: depending on where you live, you may have more rights. These can include rights to know what we collect and share, to have your information transferred to you or another service (portability), to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to appeal our decision on your request. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you're in the EU, EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
- Making a request: email info@bbwholesale.us from the address linked to your account if you can. We'll verify your identity before acting, and reply within the time the law allows (usually 30 to 45 days). An authorized agent can make a request for you with your signed permission.
- Shoppers: if you bought from a store that uses BBWholesale, you can contact that store directly, or us. Requests about a payment provider's records should go to that provider.
11. Children
Our Services are for businesses and adults. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. International visitors
We're based in the United States, and our servers and most of our service providers are in the United States. If you use the Services from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from yours. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our Services change. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll also email you.
